whoop pee doo
nope. i didn't get it.
:P
disappointed? yeaaa.. a tad bit. of course. but more than that, i'm glad it's over and done with. congrats to the guy that won it. he did a good job. documentary style.
for those who are confused. i joined a mobifilm competition about a month ago. we had to film a 30 second clip according to given themes using a mobile phone. 10 finalist will be chosen and comes round two where we film a 60 second clip for a grand prize of 10k.
by God's grace, i made it to round two.
the catch was that we had to film the 2nd film using a Nokia N93. and yes. we get to keep the phone. heh.
all in all, i cherish the experience and the exposure. this is the first competition i've joined that has anything to do with my field of study. and i must say, i'm encouraged! i sincerly feel that a lot of us tend to look down upon our own abilities, and we think that only the 'other lucky folks' get to win. no. it's not true. we have standards too. we all stand an equal chance. believe that.
i am looking forward to more adventures to come. more opportunities. more challenges. it's not going to end here. :)
thanks to lenard for being my main cast, for driving and all since i had no car then. thanks to chee kah for being the one that pushed me to join the competition because you believed in me. thanks to kae ee for lending me your car to submit the final CD. thanks to chern liang and kok yoong for your valuble input (i still wished that i could have used some of them).
and of course, thanks to the rest who supported me all the way. even till now. and even for future projects (i'm sure). with you guys, i feel i'm already a star, i'm already an artist. thanks for being proud of me. *beams*
God, Your ways are higher. Your thoughts are greater. i cannot fathom. i cannot comprehend. but You know best. and i will continue to trust. i will continue to follow. much more awaits aye? ;)
