i now have 10 traditional costumes
2 baju kurungs (handed down from my mom)
1 kebaya
1 kebaya nyonya
1 cheong sam
1 mongolian suit
1 khmer outfit (cambodian)
1 kadazan dress
1 yukata
andddd
1 sari~~

i want a punjabi suit... was supposed to get that.. but got a sari instead.. cause. sigh.. mahal. :( another time. i'll find a suitable one. ;) still hunting for my dream kurung....

whats with the craze?

it started with the cheong sams during chinese new year. i was younger then, could buy nice, cheap ones almost anywhere. then it went on to my longing for a kadazan outfit. i guess cause i had quite a few kadazan friends and well, it's nicee. black and gold.

later on, my mom brought me to tailor my first cheong sam. followed by a kebaya. then another cheong sam. as the years went by, my love for traditional costumes merely increased as i joined my high school's dancing club. all the fabulous traditional costumes of so many different types~! gosh.. they're beautiful. don't you think so? :)

it's just a pity that i dont get to weat them often.sigh. i dont really see an occasion that i can actually wear my yukata.. :( but then again, being in fcm may allow more chances for that. maybe.. if not i'll just go crazy one day and shock everyone in class.. *laughs*
