alienation

everybody suffers a little bit of hell here on earth

it is hell to love and not be loved back
it is hell not to be able to love
it is hell to speak and not be heard
it is hell to run away from yourself
it is hell when God seems so far away
it is hell to keep everything within
it is hell to smile when everything is falling apart
it is hell to have no one to turn to
it is hell when people pretend to care

it is hell to be alone

no, there's no need for fire
and no,
there's no need for demons prodding
neither does it take worms or sulfur

just to be seperated
just to be alone

that is hell enough for me
