cloudy skies

i woke up this morning.
i sat up on my bed.
staring out the window
i can see
a whole world that awaits
a calling yet to be fulfilled
and suddenly
just suddenly
i felt overwhelmed
it felt unreal
like a dream
but i know
and i understand
that loud knocking on my heart
a destiny far greater than i would ever comprehend
