oh gosh~ i'm blogging!! :D
my lap top has been a nuisance.. i reformatted it and now i cant get connected cause i lack certain stuff.. and no one has been free lately to help me figure it out.. sigh.. :( am currently at the computer lab.. waiting for my lecturer to come..


cyber christmas is all i can think of now~ hahaha.. the night event is finally over.. last night to be exact~ and boy, it's been an awesome few months. and a even greater night!! for those that didn't know, i was asst. coordinator for the night event and also coordinator of the drama..


now, how bout a lil behine the scenes log?? ;)


preparations for the drama started about 2, 3 months ago. should have been earlier.. but well. we're lazy bums! haha. i have great people working alongside me. chernliang was the one that came up with the concept of the drama and charis helped both of us put it into words.. we were actually chilling out most of the time when we were supposed to be writing the script! haha.. man.. i saw so many trailers and a few mtvs..


finding the actors was a toughie.. we had a small cast. only 5 people. one of which doesn even appear on stage! finally, by God's grace, we managed to get our full cast~ lenard, joshua, jia wern, celine and esther.


we had so much fun!! at least i did! *grinz* practices were always something to look forward to.. even though all of us loved to sleep and pracs almost always started late! heh.. yes, we loved to eat too!!! the few days we went filming was also an eating trip! haha..


however, it wasn't such a smooth ride. we had obstacles littering the path. half way writing the script. i wanted to drop out of it.. i was having some personal issues and i was prepared to drop out of cc to settle them. in the end, i decided to stay. God's green light.


later on, we had jia wern who nearly couldn't commit to act.. he had to rush back to ipoh to see his mother who was hospitalized.. we pulled our schedule forward to accomodate.. and lets not forget his minor concussion.. praise God all's well with him. :D


due to the short time we had, some of the footage we got wasn't really good in terms of quality.. we had to re-shoot certain scenes.. and these scens were shot the wednesday before cyber christmas.. on the sunday before that, chernliang's pc died. or more accurately, his mother board died.. in his hard disk lay all our footage.. he changed his mother board to another one that he had, the pc started but it refused to take any usb devices.. following that, his camera's fire wire port malfunctioned. the videos taken on wednesday couldn be captured. thankfully we managed to borrow siew voon's camera to capture.


oh ya.. his adobe premier 1.5 rebelled as well.. had to install premier 1.0 .. which means that the previous 2 -3 videos that he had already edited had to be done again.. on the morning of 4th, yesterday, his pc kept restarting whenever he attempted to burn out the videos, frying 1 dvd and 2 dvd-rw..


my lap top was upset with me too.. 3 and a half hours and it printed 2 and a half name tags. sheesh.. *rolls eyes*


all in all it was wonderful! God shone thru. He's so so faithful!! we had great and encouraging feedback.. but we know that we had only finished the flash video early yesterday morning. and recordings were done the morning before, on monday. chernliang works under stress. :))


it was a growing journey. :D i learned so much. and the people. wow. awesome people. :)


opps.. my lecturer is here.. but.. no class!!! hahaha.. coolz.. so i can go back to the booth at cc exhibition.. well.. i'll update more once i can. so much to tell...
