~what a night~
went out for dinner last night.. am currenly tied down with my cyber christmas drama practices.. we're scheduled to complete all our video scenes by 1st december.. anyway, while waiting for our food, the people at the next table kept signalling and calling to us.. they were saying something but we don't know what.. then only did we realise that they were trying to tell us that one of friends, jia wern, who had left the table to answer a phone call, had slipped and fell down. chern liang and leona quickly went to check if he was ok. he had a slight bruise on his right cheek and besides looking very very very blur and dizzy, he seemed to be ok.
dinner resumed. with jia wern missing all his food, forking the plate instead of the meat, drinking lenard's chinese tea and being very silent.. very un-jia wern.
dinner ended. i asked jia wern to sit in front (my car is a satria) so that it'll be easier for him.. he just stood there next to me at the door of the driver's seat and stared at me.. i think i repeated " jia wern, you sit in front" to him at least 5 times without getting any response except a pretty blur look.. finally, lenard came and steered jia wern to the other side of the car.. but in the end, we decided to let him sit in kae ee's car.. since he could lie down on the back seat.. (which he didn't)
jia wern threw up in the carpark in cyberia. and he threw up another 2 times before joshua dragged him to the hospital. he threw up on the way there too.. he was warded into assunta hospital.. where they jabbed needles into him, took his blood and put him through a brain scan.. diagnosis - minor concussion.
praise God it was nothing serious. he's normal again. (if you ever can call him normal) and i guess by this time he should be back in ipoh, lepaking around. *laughs* jia wern, you scared us. please get yourself another pair of slippers.. some reliable ones.. *hugz*
what touched me was that when this happened, those of us who didn go along to the hospital stayed back and we prayed. fliming was stalled but that wasn't important. we sat around in my living room, chern liang, celine, lenard, alvin and myself and committed the whole incident into God's hands.. personally, i felt at peace.
we had a 2nd round of prayer when we received a sms that hong aun's car brakes had failed him, causing him to bang into a kelisa in front of him in puchong. thank God he is ok. wish i could say the same for the car though.. :P
i believe great things are to come for cyber christmas. rehearsal last saturday saw heavy rain, fuel-less buses, faulty trains and broken down cars.. seems like we're targets for now. in-te-res-tin-g--
