had a maths quiz today. i thought it was on thursday, and i found out yesterday that its today. sighz.. tried very hard to study last night.. ended up falling asleep on my table.. man..
woke up this morning feeling terrible.. got my time table mixed up.. i thought my class was at 10am.. it was actually at 3pm.. (10am is the thursday class) .. so.. i went back to sleep.. hahah.. after that, i went looking for haze to help me with maths.. she tried her best.. but i still wasn prepared..
man..
i began to accept the fact that i was going to do really badly.. sob..
in class, the tables were not seperated. (i think the lecturer knows that our maths tidak boleh diharapkan, so she 'give chance') haze sat next to me.. later on, celine came and sat on my right. both of them scored full marks in the previous quiz..
---------------------------------------------
when i was in form 1, i was caught for cheatin during finals. it was a hard time for me. especially when i had to tell my parents about it. i got zero for that paper because my teacher pleaded for me. i should have been given a huge demerit.
did i learn my lesson?
of course not! what i learned was to be more careful the next time round! thats the fact of life. sometimes i would help others if it was my strong subject, but many times i depended on others.
our tactics and skills improved with time. we had so many many ways of cheatin that it still amazes me.. via sms, switching papers, code, typin into calculators, etc. i was never caught again. it was a culture. and i didn find much wrong in joining the crowd.
especially during my final year in secondary. we were laden with exams after exams. taking LCCI, finals, uec and spm. at the point when i was about to sit for spm, God convicted me. i knew what i had been doing was wrong and it doesn glorify Him. i had to choose.
and i did.
i was on my own for spm. hard. really. cause people actually offer to help. especially in maths. (yea, i'm famous for my terrible grades in maths) and i see many around me cheating.. but, i'm glad i made my stand. i'm glad.. althought my results weren that good. but it was sufficient.
------------------------------------------------------------
so, there i was.. staring at my quiz paper.. man..i didn even know how to answer the 1st few questions.. i was really really tempted.. i could almost hear that voice tell me to just do it.. i really really needed to pass..
integrity.
i had tears in my eyes by the time i reached the next page.
integrity.
five more minutes..
integrity.
i closed my eyes.. one deep breath.... tembak la! :D
i left the class feeling at peace with myself. heck, i still have another chance to make up. will just have to work harder for finals next week! (Praise God my previous quiz wasn so screwed up!)
